OOC: Wow that was great! Next time I'll say "...and can you recite it in the original Elvish"? www.arwen-undomiel.com/elvish/eng_to_elv.htmlAnyway: IC: That version was beautiful Whirlwind! "Wen En Ninniach" ...Sorry about your parents though. Are you going to be focused to fight robots and stuff? You've gotta have your mind in the task at hand. And what about you Whammie? You're looking kinda green. Are you ok to fight? I'm sure Master Eon could just portal someone else in here if you guys need to rest? Flameslinger pushed open the portal and entered the first hallway leading to the Ancient Arkean city. In the past, Skylanders could see what was going on in these tunnels. But now, the power seemed to be completely out. No lights of any kind were visible except for the flames from his arrows casting erie shadows on the corridors. "Aay!" Whirlwind gasped as she saw a severed head. Flameslinger whirled around to point his bow at it, only to see that it was part of a destroyed robot. "That is the fifth scrapped robot I've seen down here. Something has trashed this place. And where are the automated information holograms?" It was dark so the others didn't notice as Flameslinger pushed his blindfold a little out of the way.

OCC: Hmm... An interesting idea indeed. XP IC: Whirlwind smiled slightly at the insinuation, such a matter was not going to get in her way. "Flameslinger, I have had this knowledge on my mind for years. Has it ever impacted me or prevented me from doing anything ever before?" She questioned rhetorically, winking at him teasingly. Having heard his comment to Wham-Shell, she had to agree with him also. "He is right Wham-Shell, you don't look the same, are you ok?" She asked with genuine concern, she hated it when her friends were hurt or sick and so nudged him a little with a wing in concerned emphasis. Before her friend had a chance to reply but Flameslinger had already hurried through the portal to the Armory. She quickly followed him, worried he might do things a little too fast without them. "Hey Flameslinger! Wait up!" She called as she jumped onto the portal. Only to scream loudly seeing a sudden decapitated head at her feet when she arrived. OCC: Curse hun! XD You edited yours after I posted my response.

OOC: EXCELLENT poem Kitsune! I have to agree with Wham-Shell on this one, that was my favorite of your poems so far IC: "Wonderful recital, Whirlwind. If these were different times, I would have requested you to recite such poetry for my kingdom. Though, you would most likely need a way to breathe underwater..." Wham-Shell's pondering of such a concept didn't go very far as Flameslinger and Whirlwind voiced their concerns for his health. "I will be fine for whatever we come across, do not worry, friends. I believe I can last for a while yet. One does not become king of my kind without facing worse conditions." With that, Wham-Shell followed his comrades through the portal... Only to be met with complete darkness and a loud scream. "Is everyone alright?!" Wham-Shell growled, thinking there were enemies surrounding them, only to realize the robots around them were dismantled. "By Eon's beard! This is even worse than I thought!" Wham-Shell took small steps towards the glow of his fire-shooting ally. "I suppose for starters, Flameslinger should lead the way further into the Armory, as he is the best source of light here. As well, for a blindfolded fellow, he has the keenest eyes I assume." Wham-Shell kicked a robotic arm out of his way, the limb twitching with residual power. OOC: Hey graz, have you seen The Avengers? Hawkeye is pretty much the crazy level of insane archery I imagine Flameslinger has

OOC: I'm glad you both liked it. ^_^
IC: Seeing her hard-shelled friend kick a robotic arm and seeing it twitch slightly Whirlwind jumped on it hard, crushing it. She was already a little edgy because of the head and was NOT going to allow a twitchy arm to irritate or jump her nerves. She was to remain calm. Well... as calm as one who loves to live in violent clouds can be that is.
Travelling in the dark was upsetting to her though, while she had no fear of the dark it was still uncomfortable for her, she loved colour, and the only darkness she liked was that provided by stormy clouds.
"I could help light the way if you wanted Flameslinger? I can light my horn up if it helps?" Apart from that it would be colourful light, her personal favourite.
She didn't wait for his answer though when she heard a loud bang behind her, sound reminiscent of broken parts falling against cold metal floor. Shining her horn brightly, she noticed an old panel, the kind used for controlling the lights in the Armory, a broken down Arkeyan bot slumped over it.
"Hey Flameslinger? My coloured light makes it hard to read this panel, can you come and look at it?" She beckoned to her friend, ending the light from her horn. Although she had doubts that this panel would function at all. It did look almost as busted as the robot slumped on it.

IC: Witnessing Whirlwind's attack on the robot arm, Wham-Shell felt there was only one thing to say: "Remind me never to scare you suddenly. I do not want to end up like that arm."
At Whirlwind's suggestion of providing her own light, Wham-Shell agreed. In this darkness, he longed for the crushing dark depths of the ocean, his way lit by friendly bio-luminescent fish.
A loud bang echoed across the incredibly quiet caverns of the Armory. Wham-Shell followed Whirlwind's movements, her light revealing a mangled control panel.
Wham-Shell carefully followed the path Whirlwind had taken, not wishing to trip in the darkness. Reaching the panel, he observed the text written all over it.
Unable to read it in the dark, Wham-Shell sighed, resting an arm on Whirlwind for support.
"It is in these moments that I truly feel like a fish out of water."
Observing the control panel once more, Wham-Shell saw the faint outline of a power socket.
"Hmmm..." The crab thought aloud. "If this control panel is what we want, and is relatively undamaged enough, I believe I have a plan to restore power to it."

IC: Whirlwind just poked her tongue out at Wham-Shell for his comment, not caring if he could see it in the dark or not. She wasn't scared, she just didn't want the arm to move anymore.
Hearing he could restore power to the control panel, Whirlwind smiled for the first time since entering the place, even if it only worked a little and only restored a little light, or even only opened a few closed doors, it was better then anything.
"Oh? What's the plan?" She asked happily, her naturally curiosity clearly evident in her voice.

IC: "What I have planned is that this power socket is just large enough to hold the staff of my mace in it, which can act as a conductor for one of your lightning clouds. I would hope that would be enough to activate something!" Wham-Shell felt hopeful about this plan. Even if the power of Whirlwind's storm cloud caused the control panel to explode, the resulting light created from such an incident would help the Skylanders see more of the Armory.

IC: Whirlwind wanted to jump for joy at her friend's plan! It was simple! And even though she didn't jump, her body language was easily interpreted as extremely pleased with the idea. "That's perfect!" The storm-lover exclaimed happily. "Quick, put your mace in the socket. And then stand back everyone!" Waiting for Wham-Shell to insert his mace and for both he and Flameslinger to step back. Whirlwind stepped back herself and few paces, and concentrated, charging what she thought to be a good voltage through her wings she dipped forward, her wings flapping with a mighty clap. The carefully aimed shot produced a massive cloud of surging electricity, with spur forward and stopped almost perfectly atop the spiked end of Wham-Shell's mace. Almost instantly the mace lit up with white lightning and quickly passed its high voltages through the handle and into the panel. For a few moments nothing happened, and nothing could be heard apart from the crackling of her storm cloud. But within a few moments that all changed, the panel began to glow bright blue, its intricate ancient symbols alight with artificial light. The sight that happened next, left the three Skylanders speechless... OCC: Oh Game Master? A quick question hun, how do our characters stand as far as ability upgrades?

IC: The electrical surge seemed to travel first throughout the hallway they were walking through, then through the entire facility, but it was just a brief flickering glimpse before the power was shut off again.
It was unmistakable, even through that short flickering glimpse that the whole facility (or at least as far as they could see) was stripped bare. Someone had shown up and dismantled every piece of technology that they could dismantle. Robots defenders, destroyed. Scaffolding where there had been pieces of technology. exposed wires where there used to be laser cannons. A big hole where there used to be hundreds of giant robots.
"Uh friends, I don't thing we're going to find much here..."
OOC: Tropicon: I did see Avengers and thought it was great! I don't think of Flameslinger like Hawkeye though. I would describe him more as Legolas, but as played by a younger Antonio Banderas. Similar to Zevran the assassin from Dragon Age: Origins.
OOC: Kitsume: I'd assume we're fully upgraded if Chaos is already defeated. But feel free to have other ideas.

IC: Whirlwind couldn't believe her eyes. The entire Armory, stripped bare. What could Glumshanks possible want with all that ancient technology? Worse yet... what could he DO with all that ancient technology?
"Um... I think we should have a look deepe-" She stopped suddenly when a shiver ran up her spine, the kind one gets when they somehow know they are being watched. "I think there is still something here..." She said in a low tone, backing up a little and stretching her wings in preparation for anything.

OOC: Graz, I like that idea for Flameslinger, definitely and interesting mix OOC: As far as leveling goes, there is no leveling up in this RPG. Mainly because this is a story-operated RPG, where it would be difficult to determine how and when someone levels up, compared to the D&D type RPG. As for attacks and upgrades, I would say that yeah, your character is definitely upgraded from the battle with Kaos. So, for example, Whirlwind could summon up to 3 storm clouds at once, can bounce the rainbow attack off them, etc. Flameslinger can do his fire pillar attack, 3 arrows at once, etc. Only thing I would regulate on in this case is to not have incredible overpowered attacks, as well as not creating a new attack that is overpowered, or simply does not fit in with the character. Hope that clarifies the issue IC: Wham-Shell's jaw hit the floor when he saw the bare Armory. "This...this is definitely BEYOND what I had thought..." He said, shock still sweeping over him. With this much power and tech within Glumshanks' hand, the devastation he could unleash on Skylands would be catastrophic. Or worse yet... He could find a way to bring back Kaos. Wham-Shell wanted to smash something with his mace out of pure frustration, and with Whirlwind's sense that someone was watching them, maybe he would get the opportunity. "YOU COWARDLY LOT OF SPIES AND THIEVES!! SHOW YOURSELF!!" The crustacean yelled into the empty darkness. A set of glowing eyes appeared above them. Then another. And another. Roughly twenty sets of eyes surrounded them. One of them giggled, large grins began to show across their faces. Wham-Shell gritted his teeth, his mace now at the ready. He charged a starfish, ready to launch it. "Spell Punks..."

IC: Whirlwind spun around as she started to see wicked glowing eyes, all colour void from those tiny evil glowing orbs.
Hearing a giggle from them she saw their wicked grins appear, followed by Wham-Shell identifying them as Spell Punks.
"Ugh, I hate Spell Punks." Whirlwind complained to herself. "Let's see how you all like this!" Jutting forward she shot a brilliant flash of rainbow from her horn, the marvelous colours arching forward and landing in the darkness, lighting up the surroundings for a second as it exploded in light.
The Spell Punks in that area however mearly giggle before teleporting away, a few of them teleporting behind Whirlwind, shooting there magic directly at her. Their ever present grin's glowing brightly in the dark as they giggle more.

IC: The quick reaction of the skylanders put the giggling little wizards into retreat quickly.
Flameslinger nailed one with rapid fire flaming arrows in quick succession until it disolved into a magical vortex.
Whamshell and Whirlwind likewise dispatched foes too, but then then noticed a couple more of the punks casting enlargment spells.
Now they'd have a trio of gigantic rubarbs to fight as well...
"They're blocking off our escape route!" "Head deeper into the tunnels!"

IC: A spell punk spun around and around like a top before exploding into magical energy after Wham-Shell unleashed his Poseidon Strike attack.
Wham-Shell felt that he and his fellow Skylanders were winning the battle, until Rubarbs of the gigantic variety appeared almost out of nowhere.
Knowing that they could be overwhelmed easily under the assault of the Spell Punks and Rubarbs, Wham-Shell followed Flameslinger's lead and ran further into the Armory's tunnels, without knowing where the group could possibly be going.
A speedy Punk was catching up to the group, but a well placed mace strike knocked it back into the darkness.
The tunnel split into three directions ahead.
Wham-Shell stopped running as he reached the intersection. He turned, and began opening starfish fire upon the enemies closing in.
"Someone make a choice! And fast!"

IC: Flameslinger paused by the entrances to the 3 dark tunnels. Using his advanced senses of smell and hearing he focused on each tunnel.
The first smelled of Trolls! but he heard nothing. Probably the trolls had already left here.
The second smelled of dust, mold and that peculiar Arkean odor. He could hear a faint dripping. Maybe stalagmites?
The third tunnel smelled of all sorts of things, Biclops? Trolls? Machinery? Flameslinger heard a faints scraping noise from that direction too.
"Head down the third tunnel!"
As soon as his friends headed down the 3rd tunnel, Flameslinger carefully aimed an arrow at a door control panel causing the door to lock behind them, keeping the Spell Punks and their pets away.
