IC: Still looking down, Flameslinger saw no sign of the trolls as the battle continued.
He saw that Drobot had picked up whamshell with his tiny dragon legs and was hoisting him up.
"Alright! Finally some help up here!" thought Flameslinger, only to be dissapointed when he saw Drobot drop the crab onto the dragon's neck!
"Hey, I need him up here!" yelled down the archer to Drobot.
Drobot circled around to see what Flameslinger wanted while Whamshell was slamming away at the dragons back far below.

IC: Clinging on for dear life, Wham-Shell smacked his mace against the mecha-dragon's armored neck as it thrashed about wildly, trying to throw him off. As tough as the armor was, Wham-Shell was still able to leave dents in it. If he could break through some of it, there was a good chance they could exploit the wound to put this dragon down for good.
But for now, it would take some time to break through, what with the constant thrashing going on.
After Wham-Shell laid his umpteenth whack, he felt the dragon suddenly dip its head. Before Wham-Shell could react, the dragon jerked its head back up, the motion causing Wham-Shell to lose his grip and be tossed up into the air. The ceiling window that Flameslinger had been waiting by drew closer and closer.
"FLAMESLINGER!" Wham-Shell yelled, hoping that the fiery marksman would hear, "CATCH MEEEEEEE!!!"

IC: THe kingly crustacean flew through the air and Flameslinger didn't want him to become a crab salad on the ground far below, so the archer extended his arm, and held out his bow as far as he could reach. Hopefully it would be far enough.

IC: Cynder watched as Wham-Shell flew back from the dragon's forceful move, she smirked to herself in cruel delight seeing him heading straight for Flameslinger, it would be amusing to watch the fiery hot-head smash with the king of crustaceans, but her interest was lost with a sigh as she noticed Flameslinger just extending his bow.
'Oh well, maybe next time.' She thought to herself as she dove downwards, diving under the dragon's long body and using her barbed tail to smash into a few of the laser-guns that had been firing at her, hoping to remove some of its attack while it was distracted from the damage Wham-Shell had inflicted.

IC: Seeing the great dragon flail around in a mixture of mimic pain and rage at being attacked, Whirlwind quickly dashed out of its way when it brought its massive tail down onto to the ground. Using her wings as best as she could manage, Whirlwind leapt up high and flapped hard to give her enough height to land on the dragons tail. Her plan now was to run up the length of its body and launch as many clouds as she could manage, each time firing off a Rainbow arc into them, which would cause each cloud to burst into three more explosive rainbows. She knew that it wouldn't cause much damage to the great metallic beast, but hopefully it would atleast weaken its outer metal scales enough so that her friends could inflict more damage.
Preparing her dangerous plan Whirlwind ran forward up its length, barely even staying on its thrashing body for seconds while she began to clap her wings, launching the clouds before her.

IC: Wham-Shell reached out, and luckily gained purchase of his companion's bow. With some effort, Wham-Shell was pulled on to the ceiling of the cavern they had been in for too long.
The crustacean took a quick look at his surroundings before addressing Flameslinger.
"What would you have the King of Crabs do?"

As he blasted out of the ground just underneath the dragon's foot, Terrafin quickly realized that he had either underestimated its girth or overestimated his own powers. Without question, it was the former. Instead of knocking the dragon to the ground as he had supposed, the impact had merely caused the dragon's foot to be raised into the air. This did indeed unsettle the beast's balance, but it also caused Terrafin to be tossed aside by the impact. There would be no triumphant belly flop this time around.
Standing back on his feet, he surveyed the room to gain some perspective. Clearly this beast was not going down without a unified effort from all of the Skylanders. They were all capable of distracting it, but no one seemed to be making any real progress in winning the battle. Eventually things were going to take a turn for the worse.
Above the noise he shouted to no one in particular, "I'm open to suggestions! Who's got a plan here?!"

After dropping Wham-Shell off, Drobot made his way up to Flameslinger, firing upon the beast on the way. When suddenly Wham-Shell flew past Drobot! Seeing the crustacean hanging on by a limb, Drobot raced to rescue him and push him up onto the ledge where Flameslinger was waiting.
"Let's bring down the house!" Drobot starts using his bladed wings to cut through the mortar of one of the many pillars. "You guys get out of there, try to keep him in the middle!" Drobot shouts to the Skylanders below.
It doesn't take long for Drobot to get through one of the pillars and start moving onto the next one. "Wham-Shell, knock these out when ready!"

IC: Travelling up the dragon's length Whirlwind continued to release storm cloud after storm cloud, bursting them into a volley of destructive rainbows each time she fired her horn into them while she ran.
Staying on the dragon was increasingly difficult, and she was thankful her paw's were fluffy instead of scaled otherwise she would have lost her hold many times. The dragon was far to distracted by Cynder slicing into it as best she could to notice the minor damage that was being done to its outer layer by her rainbows. Admittedly it wasn't alot, but as long as she opened them up a little then it would help her friends inflict even greater damage.
Running up half its length Whirlwind looked back for a moment to observe behind her with sharp eyes, glancing for signs of wear on the great beast. She could see cracks along a few of its metal scales, and some appeared lifted. It wasn't alot, but it was a start.
It was while Whirlwind was looking behind that she noticed her friends above her, Flameslinger, Wham-Shell, and Drobot were all attempting to destroy the roof above them! She heard Drobot command down to her to get away, his modulated voice carrying far and informing her well.
She winced in annoyance at the pain soon to come, her right wing was pretty badly singed, and even using it to 'hop' up onto the dragon's tail was painful enough. But this wasn't something that mere pain was going to hold her back with, her choices were to either fly, or die.
Stopping suddenly to turn around, spotted a rather huge hole in the dragon's back, dent and splits that resemble marks left by metal crushing metal. 'Wham-Shell hit the dragon here!' She exclaimed to herself in joy. His early damage would be the perfect assistance for getting her airborne as painlessly as possible.
Leaning her head down she positioned her horn just outside the massive hole, avoiding the small electric sparks from broken cables and fueled her horn with every ounce of power she still possessed. Releasing the charge a huge rainbow arc shot out and straight down into the hole Wham-Shell had made, exploding within the dragon's lower neck and causing it to thrash around in a great rage.
It was this rage from the damage that Whirlwind had hoped for and she simply turned herself to face the ceiling as she was suddenly flung straight towards it from the great dragon throwing her off in its pain-filled mechanical rage. A few simply hard flaps of her feathery wings and she would be all the way to the top.

IC: Wham-Shell cracked his last pillar. The floor beneath the three Skylanders shuddered and shook, slowly beginning to fracture.
"Everyone, get back!" The crustacean yelled as he ran to a safe and stabilized location distant from the window. As he, along with Drobot and Flameslinger, watched the window collapse, a bright blue blur burst out of the opening.
Wham-Shell felt a small bit of relief, knowing that another friend was safe. He hoped that Cynder and Terrafin would be alright as well.
Returning his focus to the window, he noticed that it had stopped its steady collapsing. "Did we not damage it enough?" Wham-Shell asked the others. He took one step forward, but was stopped by the sound of bending metal and breaking rock. The window was beginning to fall!
Metal supports placed in the mountain ripped themselves from their stone prisons, bringing boulders and debris of incredible size down into the chamber below, where the metal dragon had so unfortunately turned towards the window in its pursuit of Whirlwind. Its exposed and damaged neck was a large bulls-eye.
The dragon was not fast nor small enough to dodge the debris. It roared in anger and pain as metal and stone struck it down. Its lights began to flicker out as it became buried underneath the rubble, its head now only connected to its body by a few wires.
The Skylanders finally defeated the dragon.
"YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!" Wham-Shell cheered as his fellow Skylanders on top of the mountain celebrated as well. It was a long and terrible battle, but they emerged victorious.
Then the king of crabs remembered something.
"Terrafin and Cynder!" He exclaimed, running to the edge of the gaping hole in the mountain.
"CYNDER! TERRAFIN! CAN YOU HEAR ME?"

OOC: Good job defeating the Dragon, Trypticon! Do we all get an achievement and a special hat?
IC: Flameslinger faced down toward the wreckage. Dust and smoke wafted up in huge clouds from the massive pile of debris below.
He was glad to be wearing a blindfold because it kept the dust out of his eyes. Concentrating his amazingly attuned ears downward, Flameslinger concentrated to hear a sign of his friends.
He heard a faint scraping and coughing! "Where are you? Do you need help?"
But then he heard talking, in the TROLL language!
"I think that dragon was piloted by a bunch of trolls!" And now they're angry and down there with our friends!

OOC: Haha well I guess it would be an achievement, per se, as it is going on your Character Profile record that we defeated it Would you like a hat? Oh, and congratulations on posting the 100th post in this topic graz! IC: Wham-Shell snarled, "Trolls! It's always trolls!" The crab king wanted to beat them to a pulp so badly, but unfortunately, he could not see the trolls as far below as they were, and nor hear them as Flameslinger could. "We have to find a way down there! The trolls will be easy to defeat with our combined force, and then we can search for and rescue our allies." Wham-Shell turned to Drobot and Cynder. "Unless Flameslinger has a zipline arrow hiding in his quiver, would you two be willing to fly us down?"

OOC: Indeed, congrats Graz.
IC: Cynder was spending most of her time avoiding and distracting the various lasers firing from the dragon, taking out as many as she could by slicing through them individually with her razor sharp barbed tail. Her fellow Skylanders were each doing there own little bit to defeat the dragon, but it was the voices from above that caught her attention of the real damage about to come.
Flying up and slicing the dragon once more for just her own amusement, Cynder flew up high to the hole in the ceiling, watching Whirlwind as she was catapulted upwards by the dragon below.
Cynder heard the the roof start to crumble, loud creaks of metal snapping, before the entire ceiling started to cave in. She tried her best to dodge everything that fell, but even then the rubble was too much and she was forced to phase through things quickly by using her shadow dash.
It was only shortly after the ceiling stopped falling, and the great dragon lay silent that she heard Wham-Shell call down to her. Taking flight once more she landed gracefully on the remains on the roof, next to Whirlwind whom was fussing over her burnt wings.
After all the commotion settled, she and Drobot found themselves carting the Skylanders back into the room, and started searching for the Trolls, and Terrafin.

OCC: Yayaya!!! ^_^ Graz got the hundredth!
IC: Whirlwind leapt down into the hole, descending nearby to the broken dragon as gently and painlessly as she could manage, the burning didn't hurt as much any more, but the pain from using her wings to flutter down was still quite noticeable.
Looking around her she started looking around for Terrafin, hoping he was ok she began to call his name, but quickly silenced herself and made sure Wham-Shell or Flameslinger weren't glaring at her for making noise again, after all, it was 'technically' her fault that the dragon awoke after all.

OOC: I didn't know 100 posts was a big deal. Thanks for the kudos!
IC: Coughing from the thick dust and smoke, Flameslinger hunkered down close to the floor to be able to breathe better and put his ear to the ground.
"I don't hear Terrafin, above ground or below!" "Maybe he was portaled out of here with severe injuries? I hope he's ok!"
"All of the trolls seem to be gathering near the head of the dragon. Lets head over there and check it out!"
OOC: Terrafin does not have to be injured or anything, I just wanted to add some drama. Do what you want w it.
