I'm 37 in Ohio, USA. My daughter and I have been enjoying the game together.
After initially thinking it was cool in the stores, I got more interested in it after one of my friends on Google + started telling me more about it...

Hi, I'm a 40 year old Dad with boys 11 & 13. While the 13 year old tends to think the game is kind of silly, the 11 year old and I have collected 25 Skylanders, and 3 Adventure Packs. We love it and play often.
I hope there will be decent supply of the remaining Skylanders to be released.

Hey all. When I saw Skylanders I just knew that it was something special. Kinda like the Wii was back when it was first released. And I decided I was interested. I'm especially keen on how things like game mechanics work (I'm the guy that did the testing for the stat explanations over at the Spyro Wiki). Overall, it's a great game which still has a lot of things left to be discovered.

Hey, I am 21 living with my 2 best friends and my Fiance. I first saw skylanders when it came out in October. I saw it and was like if i had the game i would be so in on them. My friend bought the game for me and I was excited. I have been buying them here and there when I have the money. I around 19 I think. I think that when I have kids this will be a cool thing to pass on to them when they are old enough to enjoy it.

I'm in Hawaii, mother of 5 year and 8 year old boys who LOVE Skylanders. Unfortunately there is no sharing as each has their own personality put into their characters and quite frankly, THEY CANNOT TOUCH MOMMY'S SKYLANDERS! LOL
So, we have to have 3 of everything here and its been a pain living on a remote island to find anything, so I resort to the evils of ebay and online shopping, but have actually found quite a few good deals.
I love the fact that this is a forum to talk, swap ideas, trade, fun for those who actually play the game.
We currently have all the skylanders that are out right now, including legendary but not including and rare gold/silver cause I don't see the point..I like their colors! But each of us (and yes, myself included) have to "earn" the characters through chores and good behaviors, so while I have all the characters currently out, I only have half of them that I can play at the moment because I haven't yet earned them all...LOL
I first saw this game when it came out and there were tons of toys on the shelves. Had a talk with my favorite GameStop employee who played it and figured the kids would like it. Talked to them about "earning" the game together and they started to do chores like crazy to earn 700 gold ($70) to buy the game and we got it in early November along with some of the toys. My first was Hex, then Whirlwind. My older son was Spyro then Bash and my younger son was Ignitor then Chop Chop.
Currently Cynder is my Goddess and stress relief from work and older son loves Terrafin and Stealth Elf with younger son stuck on Chop Chop and now Legendary Chop Chop (he just earned it as it cost him twice as much "gold" as a regular Chop Chop) and he's so excited! He wanted to bring him to school for show and tell but unfortunately he has a weapon...LOL!
Looking forward to fun on the forum and if you are in need of someone for your collection look at the trades area!

Hi. I'm 16. I LOVE Skylanders and my little cousin does too. I love collecting the figurines. I have the ii and 3DS version. My little cousin as the PS3 version. Also I love my little pony: friendship is magic xD

Hello all! Nice to meet you!
My girlfriend and I love this game, and it's one of the few games I can get her to play! Neither of us have a vehicle so it's difficult to get to the store before they're sold out, which is unfortunate for us.
My favorite Skylander is Drobot, and her's is Sonic Boom (She wanted Whirlwind but they were unavailable in Canada, boo)
This game is basically a childhood dream of mine, toys coming to life, brilliant idea!
Look forward to discussing Skylanders with your folks!

Hi there,
so I'm new around and I really enjoy this game. I decided to come here since I always been in Spyro communities and I was tired on ranting that it was not a Spyro game... So... here I am, hope to have fun here!
PS: Do you now how I can change my name for "Rainbow" instead of "rainbow"? The cap disappeared when I did my subscription and I don't know why =(
