Hi All.

Stumbled across this site from a link on a different site.

I'm a married 30 year old gamer, collector, and still a kid at heart despite my careers in both the fire department and law enforcement. My wife is a teacher and also someone that refused to full grow up. I got Skylanders on the PS3 for my wife because she really liked the figures and has never been much of a gamer type. I fondly remembered older Spyro games and I managed to get her to play one on her old gameboy before.

She quickly became addicted and I enjoy the game enough myself. Also despite getting into the game shortly after the beginning of the year we've managed to track down all the releases thus far (with the expection of Ignitor being 3DS only at this point in time).

I started collecting Skylanders for my two younger brothers ages 6 and 9.

However, where I live we have two stores that sell Skylanders a GameStop that has a small shelf in front of the register and the local Walmart that also has a small section for them.

Hey there. I'm a 17 year old guy from England, and I'm currently in college taking acting, something I love. I was always a fan of the original Spyro series (though never got into the legend series) and seeing as how I still 'play with toys' Skylanders had the best of both worlds attached to the label. I am 29 years old female from the US. I have been a avid game player since I can remember. It started with cartridge games and then DOS games and has progressed.

I feel in love with Spyro with his first game and have been hooked ever since. I am currently playing Skylanders on the Wii and I just picked up the DS version last night. I am also enjoying the hunter for the figures =)

I love the Kirby series, and I've been playing video games ever since I was a little kid. The first game I ever played was Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt on the NES. : )

I am a 36 year old dad to three kids. My son and youngest daughter, ages 10 and almost 6, love Skylanders. I am a big collector of Transformers and searching for Skylanders is like second nature after hunting TF's for years. We play on 3DS and PS3.

Hello, my name is Chaos and I am addicted to Skylanders...

...oops, sorry, wrong forum!

Anyway, I will recount my "first SL story" in that thread but my stats are:

Turn the big 4-0 this year.
Live in Queensland, Australia.
Have 4 kids, girl 10, boy 7, girl nearly 5 and boy 21 months.

The older two love to play with #3 an eager watcher right now. I was surprised how much my elded daughter loved it (in some way more than the boy).

I own all Wave 1 and 2 items, the Volcanic Vault, the Legendaries, the 3 silver variants, the guide book and 5 tower cases (pics in the approp. sub-forum here). So, yes, I stick by the first sentence of this post.

I have a kind person from another forum forwarding on to me the 3 gold variants and all wave 3 items as they will not hit these shores, down under, for quite some time. I don't expect to ever see a gold variant here (although was shocked to find a silver one, some time ago).

Hi. I'm a fellow gamer and current Skylanders aficionado who is excited to be here.

I'm 31 years old and I have a 7 year old boy who is obsessed with Ghostbusters, 80s movies in general, Dragonball Z and Skylanders (among many other things). My obsession with this game began when I bought him the Starter Pack. I haven't looked back since.
