Its kinda sad, but it just dawned on me that we are all playing a video game on a variety of consoles. That means we must play more than just Skylanders, I hope So, what other games do you play and love? Which ones are you looking forward to? Personally, I love Transformers: War for Cybertron and I can't wait for the sequel! And if anyone has Xbox Live, my gamer tag is ElectroAVN

We have a Wii, but really aren't huge gamers at our house. Most of the games we've played on there came and went... a lot of the Mario titles (Kart, Party, Super Mario Wii) ... my son is a fan of the Lego games, which I agree are pretty cool.
My only real video game interest is Skylanders, so I'm pretty boring in that regard.

The Lego games are pretty excellent, and with the new Lego Lord of the Rings theme coming out, a LotR Lego game would be awesome to have IMO!

V and I both agree that Shadow of the Colossus is the best game of all time. Recently, we've been into Dead Rising, Uncharted, Skyward Sword, and especially Catherine. 2011 was a great year for games.
Also, agreed about the Lego games, but we haven't played a new one since Pirates. How do they hold up in a post-Skylanders world?

Having never owned a Playstation in any of its forms, I have missed out on many games I would have liked to play, especially Shadow of the Colossus. It just looks so GOOD! Same goes for the Uncharted series, and yes, 2011 was a very excellent year!
I guess we will have to see how the Lego games hold up. The next one coming up is Lego Batman 2, with other DC superheroes. I;m just hoping for Lego LotR still.

I entered The Watercooler for the first time tonight to actually initiate a thread like this...
I have decided to add my XBox gamercard to my sig; it shows the most recent 5 games I have played.
I have never really been a huge "game-head" given that I am a software developer. The only games I had ever really gotten in to were Starcraft 1 and 2 and Diablo 1 and 2 (and expansion packs).
I got a Wii for the kids for Christmas 2010 and one of the games it came with was Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4. One day the kids did not let it save properly before shutting it off - they lost their save game.
I valiantly offered to replay the game to that point that night so they did not have to redo it all. Anyway, that's all she wrote and I was hooked... I ended up buying every other Lego adventure game in existance (including 3 new releases last year)!
I got a great deal on an XBox and Kinect last XMas. I decided to go down that path as I was a tad disappointed with the Wii's graphical limitations in the most recent few Lego games and there are so many things possible with a Kinect which are not possible with a Wii remote.
So, long story, short, I am not in the process of replaying *every* Lego game on Xbox (5 down, 3 to go), as well as SL.

Personally, I love Transformers: War for Cybertron and I can't wait for the sequel! And if anyone has Xbox Live, my gamer tag is ElectroAVN I love gaming in general. I consider myself to be a fanboy of gaming, which means I hold no bias toward any given system. I own every system that matters, dating back to the original NES. That's as far back as I will go in gaming, by choice. I do have a top 10 list of favorite video games. It should give an idea of what I enjoy. 1. Super Mario Galaxy 2 2. Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Chrono Trigger 4. Skylanders 5. Zelda: Twilight Princess 6. Halo 7. Soul Calibur 8. Ghostbusters: The Videogame 9. Uncharted 2 10. Bayonetta But I have a game from almost every genre, if not all genres. Variety is the name of the game in my videogame collection. Here is a link to what games I have played and beaten, as well as all games in general - backloggery.com/megax11Here is a link to pics of my videogame collection. The pics were taken sometime in December, obviously, due to the fact I see Mario Kart 7 on 3DS in there. I have bought many games since, like Asura's Wrath, Resident Evil: Revelations, Metal Gear Solid 3D, 5 PS Vita games, a PS Vita and Street Fighter X Tekken yesterday - s15.photobucket.com/albums/a391/zerox101/Game%20and%20DVD%20Collection/

I'm more of an oldschool gamer, back to Atari and NES and such. I love my SNES. I prefer 2D games over 3D ones visually, or a blend of the two styles, but story, characters, and gameplay matter most to me.
I'd name a list of games but that'd take awhile. XD;; But I might work up one soon. I like mostly RPGs and Horror genre games.~
