So I really didn't ever think I would buy a 3DS. Tried in Target once and wasn't all that impressed with whatever flying around game I was playing.
Well, as I've already stated, the power of Skylanders got me to buy one. The 3D effect is pretty cool, but I'm wondering if it has any impact on your vision? Yesterday morning during church I really felt like my eyes were having a harder time focusing on the guy leading music. I've always had excellent vision and have never experienced anything like that before. The only thing I could think of as being different was having played the 3DS.
Thoughts? I'm sure I could Google this (and I probably will), but I'd like to hear what any of you have to say.

I have a 3DS and I notice it effects my vision as well. But the effects are temporary (and usually are onset my prolonged play)
One thing I particularly notice is if I'm reading black text on a white back ground, the words seem to jump out at my like it's in 3D. This sounds cool (it kinda is) but I can tell it's putting a lot more strain on my eyes.
Don't have skylanders for the 3Ds yet, but I'll hopefully be picking it up soon.

I've had a little over a week or so to play around with the 3DS version now. Personally I'd have to say if I had gotten the 3DS version *first* before the console I dont think either myself or my wife would have gotten into the game on the level we are at and wouldnt have ended up getting all the figures.

Yeah, I agree. I got five gems on all levels in the first two worlds... and I haven't picked it back up for a while. It feels very repetitive. The elemental challenges on each level should really be renamed jumping challenges... or frustration challenges... since they're about the only part of any level where I've actually run out of health and died.

It is really different from the WII and I agree that I don't think I would have spent the money on it if I had it just for the DS, but since we have the WII version the DS is like having it on the go, so they like it.
