This is simply amazing. I would highly recommend seeing it or even just watching it on youtube. The music and concept is smart and it is based on true events.
Also, it was written by the writers of "Avenue Q" and "Southpark"

I'm not real familiar with most musicals, so I had to do a little research on this one. In fact, I'm a lot more familiar with Mormonism than most musicals!
Did you see it live? I may be reading more into this than was intended, but what are the true events it's based upon? Just their practice of spreading their message? Or is there more to the story?

Earlier I had read the article on wikipedia regarding the musical itself, but I was unfamiliar with the General. That's an interesting read. There's no way for me to know if everything on there is true, but I certainly believe in the power of Jesus to change someone's life!
