After playing on Cynder all night, I have come to the conclusion that I can now beat my husband when he plays as the broken Stealth Elf. Half the time, but at least I finally have a character who can stand toe-to-toe against him. Epic battles every time. I am now drunk in celebration. Go me  |

This is no meaningless accomplishment. Heretofore, all the type advantage in the world couldn't help the previous Undead champions overcome Stealth Elf, but Cynder is different. She does really well against the field in PVP, and we may have a new top-tier character on our hands. She's fodder to Ignitor, but that's really the only hard counter we've seen so far in a night's testing.

Wow, congrats on that development! I was worried Cynder wouldn't perform too well.

Since it's a 50/50 shot, I'm guessing that Cynder would lose without the type advantage? I wish there was a way to turn those off, I'd really like to see a straight up fight between Stealth Elf and Slam Bam.

Does turning on "fair fight" fix it? I know it reduces your character to fodder, but it's an idea.
Cynder is now my favorite character, not only in game play but also design. The detail they put into the paint is amazing, and I seriously hope and pray they will articulate her, though I doubt we could ever afford her, lol.

That's an interesting idea. There is a lot of the technical side of Skylanders that I would really like to break down, including a solid understanding of what happens in Fair Fight other than "making it fair." The problem is that so much data needs to be gathered to begin to see trends and correlations and piece together what is happening.
Some how I missed my opportunities to do this over Christmas break and am now way too busy at work to have time for such an endeavor. Maybe I can gather some data this weekend...
