 So yeah, the trailer was very awesome, and I suggest everyone should watch it! Now let us list all the new stuff we see in this screencap! NEW Skylanders- Jet-Vac (Air) - Pop Fizz (Formerly Alchemist) (Magic) - Unknown Earth Elemental (Far left, clearish white) - Unknown Undead Elemental (Behind Water Giant, looks like another drow who rides a bony chocobo) - Unknown Water Elemental (Far right, blue and gold, looks like a cross betweena turtle and an urchin)
- Unknown Skylander (Right behind the Tech Giant and in front of Spyro, almost feminine character like Stealth Elf)
- EDIT: I just realized that these two have similar bases from what I can see, and are not quite Water bases. 20 new Skylanders are going to be out, 8 being Giants and 8 being new Skylanders for each element. These may possibly be 2 of the remaining 4? New element? Giants- Bouncer (Tech) - Tree Rex (Life) - Unknown Earth Giant (Left of center, looks like an armored ogre) - Unknown Water Giant (Right of centre, looks like Terrafin in shape, but more like a whale with barnacles) - Unknown Air Giant (Centre, but further back, a giant wasp guy. OMG HE IS MY FAVORITE. I don't care that I haven't seen all of the Giants in action, he is a GIANT BEE MAN  ) Reposed/Recolored Skylanders- Sonic Boom (has her babies with her!) - Trigger Happy (turret) - Double Trouble - Cynder - Prism Break - Ignitor (New pose and legendary colors) - Terrafin (Brass knuckles with spikes) - Eruptor - Drobot - Drill Sergeant - Hex (skull above head) - Whirlwind (Rainbow horn) |

Nice break down there.
There are 2 skylanders in that space. One seems a little like Wrecking ball.
What do you think that is to the far right and left of the picture? I can see the orange base and some vague details, but can't make out anything else.

Oh you're right, the new Life Skylander by the looks of it.
As for those ones off to the sides, I can't say for sure what I think they are :/
Also, something I just noticed, in the far back behind Drill Sergeant, there appears to be a Drobot with laser beams coming out of his eyes. So there are two reposed Drobots then? And would the one with laser beams be used with the LightForce tech?

I agree that the one behind Bouncer is probably the new Life Skylander.
RT is right, some of the bases do look different, but I don't think they're introducing any new elements. I'm guessing that some of the light up bases just look slightly different than the ones we currently have. I think the one on the far right is the new water character and the one on the far left is the new fire one.
It took me a while to spot your "new" Drobot in the back of the picture. Actually, I think it's another one of the Giants. It seems quite a bit taller than the ones around it. I think it's raised up like some sort of pterodactyle. Maybe the air Giant?
What do you think is straight back from Tree Rex, just past Drobot and Whirlwind?

The one behind Drobot looks like a Drobot to me too, with lasers (it's what I thought it was at first) but the colors just look off. It does look raised, so it could be a pillar to represent that he's flying. Maybe they'll have multiple reposed figures?
Finn, the far left one is a reposed Ignitor I think, possibly a Legendary one. He has the same eyes and hair fire. I'm not sure which Drobot and Whirlwind you're talking about? Behind Tree Rex is Double Trouble, Zap, Eruptor, new Undead figure, Rainbow Whirlwind, Voodood, Cynder and Spyro.
Behind the OTHER Drobot and Whirlwind is Stealth Elf.

Here is a good article that breaks down the new developments and gives the new pricing info... www.wired.com/geekdad/2012/06/newskylanders-giants-bouncer-and-boomer/Pretty bummed out that they are releasing new reposed figures that will have further upgrade abilities. Kind of makes my money spent on series 1 figs pointless in the new game. I'm guessing since the new figures have higher upgrade abilities the game will be harder. Therefore, the series 1 figs won't fare as well. |

Well judging from that article, I will probably get the Starter Pack, sims because it comes with 3 figures. I don't mind having an extra portal. I never thought that the LightCore Skylanders would be priced more than the regular ones, but it does make sense that they would.
The only thing I hope for now is that there is a better release schedule and more availability.
