I see there is an update for cloud patrol, but can not get to it yet. I wander if this is a us thing again or not.

I can't get it yet either. I read it unlocks all of the characters and adds support for the new iPad's retina display.

I'm not sure if this is on the other versions of iTunes, but the Canadian iTunes doesn't have Cloud Patrol in the shop anymore :/ Hopefully it comes back soon!

Hmmm... I thought there was a way to trick an iDevice into thinking it was in a different region? That way you could access other iTunes?

I just looked and searched again and cloud patrol seems to have been completely removed from the us store as well.

When the app first came out, it was not yet available in the US market. We speculated that was because they wanted to start with a smaller audience first and see if there were any bugs. I figure it's the same this time around. I'm sure it will be open to US players within the next week.
Not sure about anyone else, but I haven't played it much recently. It seems like I don't get the good magic items nearly as often and it's taking forever to save up gems now that my level is in the 20's.
Still a great app for $0.99!!

Just read an article that said the original update was buggy and wiped out a lot of your saved data. Doh!
