Having recently picked up the Wii version and, tonight, run our first series of tests with it, Vhraina and I have discovered critical differences between this version and the identical PS3/360 games that may largely impact our ability to make a universal tier list. Some are huge differences, others, not so much. If anyone else has both versions, please list differences you've noticed as well. These might seem minor, but in PVP, minor can make all the difference.
Anyway, here's what we've found:
Eruptor: Volcanor path's Quick Eruption skill is instantaneous in the Wii version, and does substantially more damage. This makes him monumentally stronger in PVP, and a bona-fide melee killer.
Drobot: Afterburners are easily interrupted by any attack, and basic scenery elements in the Wii version. This hurts Drobot's overall performance, making it more difficult to escape oncoming enemies.
Stealth Elf: The range and overall quickness of Acrobatics are both significantly weaker in the Wii version. This nerfs her overall speed, and turns fights that are easy wins in PS3/360 into hard-fought battles.
Drill Sergeant: Megadozer's charge attack stops far earlier and travels far less quickly in the Wii version. However, Auto-blaster is easier to command with the Wii controller layout, and seems to have better auto-targeting. Benefits severely from +speed Heroic Challenges on PS360, but scarcely on Wii.
This is just through one night's testing, but each of these findings in some way influences PVP results.

Drill Sergeant: It also sounds like Heroic Challenges don't add anything to his charging speed. On the Wii his greatest strength really is the auto-blaster, which isn't saying a whole lot.
Hex: I'd love for you guys to try out her orb build on the Wii and see what you think. I was surprised to see vhraina give it such high marks, as I found it completely underwhelming.
Stealth Elf: She must be crazy fast on the other two versions, because I still find her to be a melee machine on the Wii!
Ghost Roaster: Very curious - on PS3/360 (we need a term for these two consoles together), does his skull charge just hit one time? That's how it works in the Wii, which is a huge limitation for him.

On the PS360 version, Hex preforms remarkably we'll. When we took her into our Wii vesion, she turned practically useless. So I must agree with you that on the Wii version she runs completely different and actually fails miserably in PvP. Her orb attacks barely do a thing, almost like ChopChop's upgrades. She was easily defeated in every match we held with her. She is a slow character to use already, and when ported to the Wii from our original tests on the PS360, she seems to be frozen in place by comparison. It seems that she might need to use her other build to survive more than a few seconds in a PvP match. I will reset her later today and run all HC to test this theory.
When we get home after January 5, we will conduct more tournies with our boxed set on their other builds.
In PS360, Eruptor sucks. There is nothing special about him and he is easily defeated in PvP battle because of his horrible charge up time for his attacks. The only thing we loved about him was actually watching our son suck on his 'hands' (he picked up the figure and thrilled to it with a huge smile, so he gets to 'chew' on him when we play at home). In the Wii version, he is a beast, guaranteed to win against (so for) any close range melee Skylander and some long range projectile users such as Fail-bot.

Stealth Elf is still amazing on Wii, and no doubt still a broken/uber/God-tier character. On PS360, though, Acrobatics go nearly twice as far per flip, making her nigh-inescapable. It's definitely not a case of an incredible move becoming useless; more like, one of the game's best moves remains one of the game's best moves, but not by as far.
She gets demolished by Eruptor on Wii though, and shreds him like paper on PS360.

I'm curious how the combo moves work on PS360. I used to hate Voodood, and was really surprised to see you list him among your favorites. Then I switched him back to his axe mode and realized I really love both of his axe combo attacks, be it swinging his axe over his head or shooting out the axe head. I also have found that Stump Smash can do some ridiculous damage with his combos, even just with his A+A+A (which I think ends with a 90 damage smash).
Can you check to see if the combos are the same across platforms? Also, do attacks do the same amounts of damage? Such as upgraded Rain of Skulls doing 35 damage per hit?
