---PS3 Version Details follow---
Summary: Sunburn is an unusual beast, with a playstyle quite unlike anything else in Skylanders. To compare him to existing toons, he is somewhat of a hybrid between Cynder and Ignitor in playstyle, though with less evasiveness than the former and not nearly as much damage output as the latter.
A breakdown of nifty info on the moves follows:
Flamethrower Breath is like a cross between Double Trouble's channel beam and Prism Break's gemstone beams.
Sunburn breathes a stream of fire a couple bodylengths away where it impacts the ground. The button must be held to inflict damage, merely tapping it will case him to spurt some fire but it won't inflict damage. It inflicts a base damage of 7 per tick and lasts about 4 seconds. The impact has a very small AoE. It will re-acquire targets in the line in a fashion similar to D.T.'s beam, but it does not have Lock-On where it will stay connected if you turn away. You may rotate while breathing the beam, very similar to Prism Break's beams.
Sunburn can breathe while moving, but moves at half speed. Sunburn may breathe while in midair.
Blazethrower causes the attack animation graphics to animate twice as fast. The Flame Breath deals 10 damage per tick, but it otherwise unchanged.
Immolation Teleport is a unique skill, quite unlike anything else in the game. Using it will cause Sunburn to disappear in a puff of flame and 'teleport' about two bodylengths away in the direction you are facing. A small placeholder 'mini flame' graphic shows the arrival point. This attack inflicts 12 damage from the Disappear explosion and another 12 for the Arrival explosion. The attack has knockback, and it's possible to hit a foe when pushing against them, knock them back, and then arrive at their location for the second burst.
The neat trick about this attack is that if you hold the button down, Sunburn's arrival will be delayed until you release the button. Thus, you can teleport into a group of NPC's and let them clump up before exploding, or make the opponent guess in PvP.
Note: This attack has a bad recovery time. Both explosions make your controller shake. You can make another attack immediately after the Arrival explosion controller shake ends. Use this for proper timing.
Guided Teleportation expands this power in a very interesting way. Not only is there one 'arrival marker' flame two bodylengths ahead of Sunburn, but one is placed at the same distance behind, to the left, and to the right of Sunburn, in a "+" shape. It may be distorted if there are nearby walls, hills, etc, as it seems to follow the contours of the ground.
The neat trick is that while you hold down the button to wait, you can 'push' in the direction of the flame you want to Arrive at! You have up until about a half second before the end of the full duration to 'pick' a destination.
The actual Arrival destination has a slightly larger flame than the others to give it away. It is also the only one in an un-upgraded state that causes damage to enemies nearby.
Phoenix Dash: A more-or-less standard 'charge' attack. Sunburn turns into this streamlined, silvery stylized rendition of a pheonix with attached flames. Deals 15 damage on contact with foes. The charge lasts about 2 slow seconds and doesn't make you move more than about +50% speed. There's a half-second of recovery time after the move is completed before Sunburn can make another attack. It requires you to hold the button, and functions VERY much like Slam Bam's slide, except doing damage.
Flight of the Phoenix: The Soul Gem upgrade changes the Dash drastically. Appearance wise, it's more of a flamingo pink effect. The Dash now inflicts 30 damage and, more importantly, causes an Arrival explosion like that of the Immolation Teleport that also does damage. While this is a boon in PvE situation, it's a bit of a drawback in PvP, as a singlar player may not be hit by the 30 damage more than once despite exposed contact, and the explosion changes the recovery time of half a second for the normal version into a full long-second recovery due to the explosion and animation.
