From everything I have heard, it does not, unfortunately. I love the game, but I think it would be pretty fun to play online against someone, considering I don't know anyone else in my town interested in playing it :/

Lol it's not a bad thing at all, just sucks that none of my friends are interested enough  luckily I got my sis somewhat hooked, so maybe she will give in |
