Hmm... creative... how about a Perspective Poem? ^_^
Wings of feathers that soar the sky,
Beating with strength as I fly.
I am a blend of agile and strength,
And for my mission now I must go the length.
Turning to fly to the open sea,
Reveals a land foreign to me,
I was sent on this quest to save a village,
From nasty goblins that only desire pillage.
Landing down with the kindest of grace,
I see noone, nothing, everything deserted this place.
Looking around with sharp eyes of guard,
I see them not, but I hear through there facade.
I hear them coming they are approaching fast,
These nasty little goblins, I will defeat them to the last!
Pour they come from the houses and doors,
And launching high I laugh as my rainbows soar.
A horn of rainbow color that lights the way,
Blasting beams of color and shooting them away.
My wings fold and the storms unwrap,
My dark clouds making the thunders clap.
They are caught off guard by my colorful display,
Blasting them hard, causing them to dismay.
But still they came shouting with a disgusting battlecry,
Bringing along a weapon to shoot me from the sky.
Seeing they guns built of evil and dirty muck,
I dodge there shots with heightened luck.
And between my flips with the air,
I sent many clouds of lightning to there armor tear.
The battle raged on and there side was weakening,
But there ever pressing numbers was more then equaling.
I fought them hard and I fought them long,
But I grew weary as it due out on and on.
My strength weaning I start to loss the upper hand,
And behind me I did not detect there catapult launching heavy land.
Stuck hard from behind I fell to the ground,
And within seconds they attacked me from all around.
The battle hardens and they press me back,
Closer and closer there axes did hack.
I shade myself with my wing as my spirits drop,
Praying and wishing they would stop.
There was many times when I held the power,
To defend the Skylands and make these monsters cower.
But now I possess naught the strength to fly,
And there blade cut close and my eyes do cry.
When all hope was lost and I feel myself fade,
A strange feeling awakens as I dodge their blade,
In memory I see our leader, his purple wings taking flight,
As he is bathed in the most mysterious of light.
I remember his power that I saw that night,
He displayed such strength it was an amazing sight.
That power held a special pulse that we call all feel,
It was like a growing spirit, an impossible power yet real.
I remember his scales changing to a blue,
And as he continued many enemies he slew.
His change was complete as he was marked in gold,
This new Spyro, was a sight to behold.
That memory made me grab hold of this power,
And with a blast of light the enemies did cower.
I felt an energy a soul of power surge through me,
This power was really meant to be.
I exploded in light and my feathers did dim,
And I noticed the same change to me, that happened to him.
My feathers did turn blue, and I was marked with gold,
As I struggled with this new power, to take ahold.
The light did flash away and I felt so strong,
I felt myself stand up tall, looking at those monster so wrong.
I glared at them and with a mighty wing flap,
A cloud so huge did surge forward caused by lightning clap.
I dashed forward with renewed speed,
I galloped straight like a brilliant steed.
And from my horn a vortex of color did shine,
And those nasty goblins were reduced by nine.
I glared at those that remained, by new form imposing,
And before my might they turned a ran uncomposing.
I followed them fast and cleared them all out,
And with the last of them gone I was gleeful in shout.
The power that saved me grew down and faded,
And at last my color returned to dull blue-jaded.
With my mission complete I turned once more to the open skies,
And I set back for the trip through the sunrise.
I will always remember the power that I had within,
It was one that only few can hope to begin,
But from this day I will progress for perfect actuary,
For I now am, Whirlwind Legendary.
Hehehe does that count as an entry? ^_^ A Perspective Poem about a skylander (whirlwind) becoming Legendary? ^_^

Kitsune. Wow! That is pretty much what encapsulates my feelings for your epic poem! It made me want to do a dramatic reading of it even  Excellently done! |

Introducing! The New Legendary 3-Pack of Skylanders! Firstly, we have Stealth Elf! With her new and improved Golden Dragonfang Daggers, she'll make short work of any Troll that gets in her way!  Next up we have Legendary Zap!  They say gold is the best conductor of electricity, well, Zap is about to prove it! Last but certainly not least, Whirlwind!  Once considered an outsider to both Dragons and Unicorns, now, she's the envy of all skylands! She's more beautiful and more fierce than ever before! With these three new Legendary Skylanders, there is only 1 element not represented, tune in next week for the unveiling of the final Legendary Skylander! |
