Hi. I'm also looking for Double Trouble, Drill Sergeant, Chop Chop and Whirlwind. Though I'm in Australia - don't know how that would go. Hi all i'm looking to get an air skylander for my daughter, she has one from every other element apart from air. It's been so disappointing not being able to get her a complete collection and i simply cannot afford the extortionate prices sites such as amazon and ebay are charging. My daughter has autism and collections are very important to her, if she starts one she will finish it, and i've never had a problem like this before. If anyone can help please let me know i'm willing to pay a reasonable price plus shipping charges to anyone that can help. thanks you .

Hi! I'm inquiring as to weather or not you still have Whirlwind skylander available?
My little guy, (as well as my big guy, his dad) would really love to have it, and I can't find it anywhere, and can't really afford to pay the 40 or 50 dollars that they are asking for it on Ebay.
I would def paywhat it costs, plus shipping though.

also anyone know if i can buy just the dvd game of skylander on x box ( i have ps3 but its my coloc ps3 haha moving to other friend house and they have a xbox ^^ so want to continu to play the game hehe)

Hi there,
We are new to the world of Skylanders....my bestfriend and her son turned my daughter onto it...I thought it was pretty cool until I realized how expensive it can be. We were lucky enough to get the start-up set on sale at Target...but no stores in my area have the Skylanders for sale...and going on ebay or amazon and paying the insane prices they are asking is simply not an option. I am single mom, who works two jobs as it is just to make ends meet. I dont much about the world of Skylanders, but I know she really enjoys them...I have sat down with her and played...but she gets frustrated only having 3 of them and not being able to play certain parts of the game I guess. To be honest, I dont know what she has and what she doesn't (she has the 3 that you got when you buy the game and portal; it was like a boxed set) but if anyone could point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. I have no problem paying for them, and even paying it forward if I do happen to come across some of them, but as I said I just can't afford the ones that are being sold online.

As of the time of posting this, there are figures available on Gamestop.com for 9.99 each. Which is going to be the average retail now.
Singles listed currently are Hex ,Dino-Rang, Zap, Wrecking Ball, Eruptor, and Boomer .
Toys R Us Online also has a 3pack of Drobot / Stump Smash / Flameslinger, as well as singles of Boomer, Zap, Dino-Rang.

Thanks, Mary Hi Mary, welcome to the wonderful (and potentially pricey) world of Skylanders! Here's a quick rundown of the situation your daughter is in: there are eight different types of Skylanders, with four different characters in each group. In order to access every single part of the game, you need to have at least one Skylander of each type. As it is right now, you have three of the eight - Water (Gill Grunt), Magic (Spyro) and Tech (Trigger Happy). Therefore, you will need to find one of each of the other five types for her to have full access to all of the levels. Those remaining five are: Air, Earth, Fire, Undead and Life. The currently released figures from each of those elements are: Air - Sonic Boom, Whirlwind Earth - Prism Break, Bash, Dino Rang, Terrafin (only comes in a $20 set) Fire - Eruptor, Flameslinger, Ignitor (only comes in the 3DS set) Undead - Chop Chop, Hex, Cyder, Ghost Roaster (only comes in a $20 set) Life - Stealth Elf, Stump Smash Hopefully that gives you a starting point of who you're looking for. Ignitor is the most expensive of those to get and I wouldn't recommend it if you just want a fire type in general. Terrafin and Ghost Roaster come in adventure packs, which are $20 sets that include an extra level in the game and two small items that can be placed on the portal to give your character benefits such as healing, slowing down time, etc. Again, these are cool add ons, but are pricier than other options if you just want to get one of each type. Right now Whirlwind is pretty hard to find, as is Cynder who was only recently released. Pixieluv here has done a good job of helping a lot of people out already, and might be able to get you all five different types in one shot. I'm sure she will reply to this thread soon, but in the meantime I think the very beginning of this thread lists what she currently has available. (Just opened a new window and checked... she does have at least one of each according to that list.) I hope this helps and you're able to find the figures you need! |

Life - Stealth Elf There might be a way to get these in a 3 pack to further save money. Of the 3 packs, the one with stealth elf would be the most recomended. If I remember correctly, the stealth elf 3 pack also includes sonic boom. I cant remember who the 3rd one is. |
